Hi there! My name is Sarah McLauchlan and I will be offering support for English students studying at national 5 through to advanced higher level (or equivalent). Our first lesson together will be based on getting to know each other and working out which learning style you benefit from the best - let it be more visual techniques or auditory - my lessons will be adapted to suit your abilities to help you progress. I will provide lots of resources and exercises so that we can track your progress consistently, helping you put your knowledge to practice and improve. I will strive to make our time together as comfortable as possible as I understand how daunting it can be, there is no pressure and you will never be in trouble, I'm just here to help! Whether we are analysing poetry or learning how to structure a good essay, I will go at a pace that benefits you the most and helps you meet your goals. About Me

I am currently a Psychology major at the University of St Andrews. I love helping others and cannot wait to offer support to those who may need that extra little push in school! I am not long finished High School, so I have a very good understanding of what it is like to be a student and how hard it can be to cope with the pressure, especially with upcoming exams and assignments - however, if I could do it, you can too. I really can't wait to get to know you all, it'll be fun!
