I am an Associative Professor of Bulgarian language and a Senior Lecturer at the Medical University of Plovdiv in Bulgaria, where I have 35 years of experience in teaching foreign students to understand, speak and write in Bulgarian from A1 to C2 level.  I am an author of 5 textbooks specifically aimed at teaching Bulgarian to foreigners. I have good command of the English language, having lived in South Africa for 17 years, and I use the English language to explain vocabulary and grammar when teaching.
