I am a DBS-certified Cardiff university student studying MSc Computing, and achieved a 2:1 in BA Mathematics and Music, with over 500 hours of experience tutoring.

About Me

Most of my experience in mathematics is in applied mathematics, and I averaged 1sts in my final year of university mathematics. At university I also studied the musical theory, studio production, and composition, achieving 2:1s and 1sts in all music modules.

 Before university, I achieved a B in A-level Latin, and 10 As and 1 A* in my GCSEs including English and triple science. 

I have tutored both online and in-person since 2018 with over 500 hrs of experience, mostly tutoring GCSE mathematics students. My most recent DBS check was in September 2022.

I know that taking exams and applying to university can be stressful for students. I make sure pupils can balance their mental wellbeing with learning outcomes. 

I will spend a small part of our first establishing a goal for our sessions as each student has different needs. This might be anything from exam techniques and confidence building to conceptual understanding. I can also set homework if requested and mark any extra outside of lesson work.

Services

I offer online one to one lessons, and online group lessons at an extra cost subject to number of students and level of mathematics.

I am available to set weekly homework and mark homework in between lessons.
