I am a University student currently completing my final year in Mathematics and Computer Science and have achieved 10 GCSE's all A*/As, including Sciences and Maths. I have been a senior tutor in the science department for the last 3 years, teaching students from the age of 10 to 16, normally in groups of 6 and less. I am able to teach KS3 and GCSE and have had students improve at least a grade and many have gone to progress onto A-levels in the sciences.

Tutor
November 2017 to August 2020
I was a Tutor at a centre in Ealing teaching, GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and KS3 Science.
• Applied a variety of high-level communication skills including coaching so that the children are engaged with the knowledge presented to them
• Using my initiative to manage session time and deliver my tailor-made curriculum based on the individual’s needs
• Solved problems quickly with students from textbook learning to ad hoc challenges that need addressing such as learning obstacles
Regarding GCSE Sciences I will be able to teach BIOLOGY and CHEMISTRY.
My teaching methodology is firstly based on the curriculum, by first going through the examiner provided textbook, and understanding the basics of all the topics, then building upon that knowledge further. This will be tested every month ensuring that progress is being made and room for improvement identified before the exam period.
