I am a trainee secondary teacher, specialising in French and Spanish. I have a BA in French and Hispanic Studies from the University of Liverpool.
I love my languages and I love to teach them - helping people to acquire new skills, vocabulary, and to gain confidence in a foreign language is something I really enjoy. I enjoy engaging with students and working out the best way for them to understand new ideas (and have a good time doing so!)
I can provide tuition from Beginner to Intermediate (GCSE level), covering the 4 core skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as grammar tuition, speaking practice and GCSE curriculum tuition.
I am comfortable teaching both school students and adults who want to start something new!

Teaching Experience:

Just finishing my PGDE with QTS training year in Secondary MFL.
I have experience teaching both French and Spanish in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, from beginner to intermediate level.
I have a TEFL certificate.

Teaching Approach:

I take a mainly communicative approach when it comes to teaching, focusing on effective communication and meaning.
I have high expectations when it comes to correct grammar, spelling and pronunciation, and work with my students to increase accuracy in these areas.
I use lessons and small assessments such as vocab tests, grammar tests and writing tests to help inform future tuition and to track progress.
