Hello, my name is Alice and I am a professional woodwind and piano teacher from Coulsdon in South London.
I believe that music has the power to transform our personal wellbeing and confidence. As a dedicated musician and teacher, I am acutely aware of the impact that music lessons can have on a student of any age.
My own music education started at the age of six when I got my first instrument: a piano. By the end of my school years I was playing the piano, clarinet, jazz saxophone, flute and bassoon in concerts and musicals throughout Kent.
In my professional career I have been a music teacher in Surrey secondary schools for ten years, holding positions such as Director of Music and Head of Academic Music at numerous independent and state schools. I have now decided to become a full time musician and instrumental teacher so that I can pursue my own performance career.
About Me
In my professional career I have been a music teacher in Surrey secondary schools for ten years, holding positions such as Director of Music and Head of Academic Music at numerous independent and state schools. I have taught AQA and Edexcel A-Level and GCSE courses for ten years and have run them in all of the schools I have been at for the last eight years. I have also previously been an examiner for AQA A-Level performance and AS-Level analysis exams.

I am able to offer online music lessons in piano, clarinet, saxophone, flute and bassoon. I am also able to offer academic music lessons for students preparing for A-Level and GCSE exams.
