I am a student at the University of Manchester currently studying a degree named Biology with Science and society, which covers topics in the area of Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry and History, more specifically the history of medicine. Prior to this I studied A levels in Chemistry, Maths, Biology and Art achieving AAA*A. Throughout my time studying I have developed various revision techniques and created lots of resources that are perfect for revision. I would love to be able to pass these on to other students!

It is my aim to transfer my passion and love for science to my students as well as an understanding of the subject in order to enable them to AIM HIGHER and ace their exams!

About Me

Services

I offer tutoring to Alevel and GCSEs level students in: Chemistry, Biology and Maths.

As a tutor, I will facilitate the students learning on a 1 to 1 basis so that they may gain a deeper and greater depth of knowledge of the subject. I will provide the subject knowledge expertise and transfer my knowledge to the tutee in a manner and at a level that is appropriate to the tutee but pushing them beyond their limits to the next stage. Throughout my years of studying, I have found that I have achieved the best grades when I have  developed a deeper understanding of the subject at hand. This has meant that I have been able to tackle any format of exam question as I know the subject inside out. This is something I would like to focus on when tutoring. I have also developed lots of different revision techniques over the years, aside from just taking notes, that I believe are very effective.

My sessions would therefore be centred around ensuring the student has a good understanding of a topic and once that is achieved, solidifying that knowledge through revision techniques. Afterwards we would tackle exam papers so that they can understand what is expected of them in the exam, and ways to guarantee marks.
