I am married to a Taiwanese lady and have two kids who are biIingual in English and Chinese. I have been an EFL teacher for over 20 years. I have worked in Spain, Venezuela, Italy, Taiwan and the UK. I have delivered general English and English exam courses to individuals and groups. For the last 11 years I have been working for Kaplan International Colleges-a leading private language school. I have also worked for the British Council in Venezuela(2000 and 2001) and Spain(2005-2006). 

I have experience teaching all levels from Beginner to Advanced. Further, I have prepared students to sit the IELTS exam. In the last 18 months I have prepared students for the GCSE Spanish exam.

I enjoy tutoring so much especially being able to achieve my students goals of learning.

About Me

I grew up in Manchester and I became interested in other cultures and really wanted to travel. After I finished my Masters I took the opportunity to teach English abroad. First, I spent 2 years in Madrid in Spain. I absolutely loved my time there teaching and getting to know Spanish people and Spanish culture. I attained a good level of Spanish there. My experience teaching was very positive so I decided to make it my career. I have lived and worked in 4 countries- Spain, Venezuela, Italy and Taiwan. I have attempted to learn the native language in these countries and want to pass on my knowledge to others.

Services

I give online tuition in ESOL and  Spanish . As regards ESOL I can prepare people for exams such as FCE and IELTS. As regards Spanish I can help tutor until GCSE level
