My name is Amie and I am currently a trainee teacher! With a first class degree in History, I specialise specifically in the humanities, particularly history. While my love for the Victorians will never wilt, I have covered everything from the middle-ages to the present day. As I have worked in both educational NGOs and schools, I am able to quickly grapple with the curriculum in all it's forms! Nonetheless, as I have worked in primary schools also, I am able to tutor in KS2 maths and English! 

About Me

As I have recently graduated (pandemic-style) from a Russell group university with a first class honours in History, my next step is the completion of a PGCE in September 2021. With this in mind, tutoring will and currently does form a vital part in building in the skills I need in becoming an effective teacher. The choice to pursue a career in teaching comes from a variety of experience within the realm of education; from volunteering as an academic advisor for educational NGO Intouniversity to working as a teaching assistant in Queens Park Primary School. These experiences highlighted the importance of educational equality, which I believe tutoring can also help to achieve. I would love to share my interest for the humanities and arts, from media studies to history at all adacdemic levels!

Services

Over the Christmas holidays, I have an incredibly flexible schedule, so I am happy to tutor any day of the week, at anytime! 
Once the school term recommences, I am free from 5pm on weekdays and at anytime on the weekend.
