Hello there! I'm a graduate from Heriot-Watt University with a First Class honours in BSc Psychology with Human Health. I also hold the British Psychological Society Undergraduate Award 2018 for graduating with the highest grade. Therefore, you can rest assured that my knowledge and expertise in the subjects I tutor is pretty abundant!

I'm passionate about my subject area and am specialised in combining both psychology and human biology. As an aspiring clinical psychologist and currently working in the NHS, I believe I'm an empathetic, patient and devoted individual.
 

About Me

I've been tutoring since 2014 and am familiar with SQA Biology and Psychology syllabus and know what examiners are looking for in the exam. Furthermore, I am experienced in writing top mark essays up to undergraduate level. I have tutored students of all ages with a range of abilities and am experienced in tutoring students with learning disabilities and dyslexia by adapting my tutoring to specific needs.

I aim to work closely with the student's syllabus and exam board requirements. I believe the best way to prepare for exams is getting in an ample amount of exam paper practise and perfecting exam answer techniques. I take the time to understand where my student's weaknesses lie and what specific part of the course they're wanting help in. My approach to tutoring is not the same for every student; each lesson is individually tailored. Therefore, I offer a free telephone/SMS consultation before tutoring can begin where I can map up a learning plan for each student.
