I am Andrea, a CELTA qualified tutor of Business English and general English and conversational English classes. My teaching style is enthusiastic, fun and flexible. I enjoy taking lessons that are positive, current and help students integrate with the English culture quickly. I have had a business in the UK for 21 years and can also help with business-related subjects, customer service, networking, negotiation and meetings.

My clients include international business executives from all over the world. I have taught many levels of students from A1 (beginners) through to C2 (upper-intermediate). I teach individuals or groups. Adults and young learners. I like planning lessons that suit the individual and I enjoy seeing my students develop a good level of English and grow in confidence. It is a very rewarding job!.

I have gained the Certificate of Education, PTTLS and A1 assessors award as previously I worked in further education. I have ILM certification (level 4) in Leadership and Management I am based in York which is a beautiful historical city. I currently work freelance and also do some hours for International schools in the area.

I love meeting new people from different cultures and backgrounds. I have a good understanding of the Arabic culture as my daughter lived in the UAE and I have many Muslim friends. I have been training people in my business which I have had for many years. I have two daughters who have now grown up and my hobbies are going out with friends, yoga and reading. I teach online.
