I have experience tutoring students in college and over 500+ online taught hours. I have tutored students internationally, in countries such as Dubai. I am an advanced lesson planner and produce engaging, interactive, and fascinating lessons. My passion for the subjects I teach, and my empathy means I am understanding and encouraging, my lessons are a safe place for students to learn and thrive. I have attended many exam structure seminars and have travelled on the premise of geographical study to countries such as Costa Rica and the Azores. I also enjoy reading economics-related literature, which helps me to take a holistic approach to teaching economics. I have studied geography for 8 years and Economics intensively for 3 years.
About Me
The first lesson typically involves me assessing a student's ability, responsiveness to different learning techniques, and the current curriculum they follow. This will enable us to decide on a student's goals they aspire to achieve with tutoring. We can then decide how to structure our sessions to best progress a student's ability.
From then on weekly lessons will integrate the learnings of previous weeks to improve the retrieval of content taught. I like to empower students so they feel confident enough to teach me the topics we will cover! My kind nature makes the mistakes of learning feel comfortable too, I’m here to support you on the journey, which is ultimately yours to make.
