I have had 2 years of experience teaching KS3 and GCSE
My experiences and research has gained me positive feedback in the methods I teach- Im warm, sociable and enjoy what I do best. My various methods of teaching provide my students a different perspective on maths; I teach the little ones how to add and subtract, multiply and divide without using their conscious mind. I enforce critical thinking skills on those studying KS3 and GCSE; reducing stress for those studying for competitions and exams. Addressing issues with maths head on to help relieve stress and prevent it from affecting the rest of their education.
I have a background in researching different styles of teaching, allowing students to excel in the method they find most suitable to them. I have spent 3 years completing 11 levels from A-K of the Kumon Mathematics Programme; allowing me to learn more than what is need to teach my own students about this traditional Korean method of learning maths. My outlook goes far beyond school life. I aim to think about the young adult your child will become. My aim is to ensure your child is two, three or maybe even four years ahead of their school work, this allows them to implement the skill of working independently and use this skill to later thrive in school and university. I will guide my students at a level where they can concentrate and be motivated, allowing them to develop the ability and desire to learn.
