I am a Biochemistry Honours Undergraduate achieving a 2.1 and have been private tutoring in Maths for 4 years.i have taught a wide range of students from 5-16 years of age, with mixed abilities, whether it be from those who struggle to those at a higher level, or SEN students. Private tutoring may just be a job for some,  but I see it as a very rewarding thing to do and above all, the greatest achievement is by far, when students tell me that the topics they have always disliked due to understanding, are the topics they are very familiar with now. 

I would definitely do all I can to make the student understand the subject better by giving and marking homework, spending some overtime with the student to make sure he/she understands,  dropping off resources in my out of hours time,  and even explaining things over the phone during the week in my own spare time.

Every student is definitely capable of achieving the best, but just need a guide, and I can be that guide.
