About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Beth and I am a qualified geography teacher looking to branch out into tutoring. I am available for in person tutoring in North and West Yorkshire but I also offer tutoring online if you’re a little bit further away!

I have a deep understanding of the subject, both physical and human geography. I gained my Geography BA Hons degree from Loughbough University and my teaching degree from Leeds Trinity University. I have worked in secondary schools within Yorkshire and have experience in the classroom.

I tutor KS3, GCSE, A-Level and degree level Geography and have knowledge of both the AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards. I have also marked for AQA GCSE Geography for the past 5 years, giving me a thorough understanding of the exam requirements. I am available Mondays and Fridays from 10am until 5pm for 1-2 hour sessions.

Our first lesson will focus on assessing your current understanding of the subject and exam requirements. We will discuss your strengths and areas for development both in terms of content and exam technique. The teaching style will also be catered to your needs to make sure you grasp even the trickiest concepts.
