I am a fully qualified secondary science teacher specialising in Biology and Chemistry to A-Level as I hold a First-Class Joint Honours Degree in those subjects. I have taught students from the full range of abilities and always strive for them to achieve more than they thought possible.

I believe the key to doing well is understanding the subject not just training to pass exams, though I will of course spend time with you preparing for any upcoming exams. If you work with me, you will work hard (I can’t do it for you) but you will do well.

When requesting your first lesson please include as much detail as possible about your requirements, including the level, exam board (if applicable) and any particular areas you would like to focus on initially. We will do a need analysis between us so we can make a plan going forward to help you achieve your goals.

About Me

I have been a teacher in one form or another for most of my life. As a teenager I taught adult basic maths and English as a volunteer at my local community centre. I tutored maths and science all through college and university, and following some time working in industry I qualified as a secondary science teacher specialising in biology and chemistry, I currently work in the private sector training tutors to teach.
