I am a PhD student at the university of Southampton holding an MChem degree in chemistry. I have previously conducted a research project in computational protein dynamics. Following this I was accepted for a PhD in computational chemistry, during which I intend to further my teaching ability in chemistry and other related scientific areas. This qualification gives me the unique perspective of being able to teach mathematics and chemistry from a contextual point of view, explaining why students are taught these techniques and how they are derived.
Previously I have had experience in tutoring maths and chemistry, taking previous clients grades from as low as E to A. Further to this I have partaken in teaching days at the university in which I demonstrated and assisted in performing simple experiments.
