Hi My name is Carmena McKenzie and I  am currently working in a primary school as a teaching assistant. I have a BA in Education Studies and i am also a qualified nursery nurse and I am DBS certified. 

I enjoy creating fun lessons for children to take part in that allows them to to learn and be creative at the same time. 

I do my best to adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of the child and and to help them get the best out of their abilities. Working with children I find that one of the most important things is building relationships with my pupils to ensure that they can reach their full potential. 

Services

I currently can offer support for children  aged 4-7 years old (reception to year 2) with homework help and extra lesson support. 

I can offer the full range of primary education for reception to year 2. I have ample experience teaching phonics and early maths and find creative approaches to teach this. My aim is to close any gaps that they may have in their knowledge. 

I have worked with a wide range of abilities and I am able to support those with specfic learning needs 

I can offer 1 hour long services and i am willing to work with multiple children within a househould
