Hello, I am a qualified and professional primary teacher and have taught in both state and Independent schools for the last 15 years. I have aso taught as a tutor for the past 2 years and have taught children in Key Stages 1 and 2 and prepared students for 11+.

I am a confident, professional person who has fantastic people and communication skills. Over the last 6 years, I have had the fortunate experience to work in the State sector in both Academies and the Independent sector. Each school had had excellent expectations for the children and were amazing opportunities to learn and further my teaching skills.

I have certainly added to my experience in schools in the last two years by working in a thriving and busy state school, which offers all the challenges and expectations of differentiated classes. As a Year 4 teacher, I covered every area of the National Curriculum.  I currently feel very secure in my Classroom environment and within the boundaries of the state school system.

However, due to my experience, I also have a very solid understanding of the expectations and requirements of the Independent sector, and the different challenges this brings.

I have recently covered successfully all the required courses for child protection and safety and the relevant courses that deal with minority groups, customs and problems. I have excellent pastoral care skills as working in Education, I have had to work closely with families and children for them to reach their full potential. I have widely experienced pupils with special needs.

About Me

I enjoy walking and running, socialising with friends and family. I also write Educational plays and write poetry and read extensively.

I am a highly motivated and professional person. I have worked in both Independent and state schools for the past 15 years and have excellent people skills. I have developed in my experience excellent problem-solving skills and love working with and interacting with people and children. One of the joys of teaching is to inspire children to believe that with education, anything is achievable.

A main strength is my communication skills and the ability to work in varied and challenging environments.
