I hold a National diploma in professional musical theatre, I have an extensive background in musicals, cruise ship Broadway  shows. I will begin  by assessing the students ability and what they want to gain from the lessons, and plan the curriculum accordingly. understanding the fundamentals of music theory and vocal anatomy as, I am able to help with a variety of styles of singing e.g. pop, rock, classical, musical theatre, jazz etc.  Each lesson will begin with a warm-up. I am able to assist in giving techniques to help the development of the vocal technique and breathing which is most important for vocal health in order to strengthen the voice and quality. also I’ll able to advise in the performance aspect of music and connecting to the words of a song. I always make sure the student has an understanding as to why certain exercises are done and give the anatomical reasoning and explanation. For example: to reduce constriction the super thin vocal folds need to be open and relaxed and in order to do this and exercise similar to that of a silent laugh or yawn can achieve this.
