Hi parents and children alike, 

My name is Daphiene. I am a second year Primary education QTS student. Due to the pandemic I have taken a gap year and university. I have experience teaching in reception,Y1, Y2, and Y6 due to university placements and an teaching agency job.

I have experience in makaton, PECs, SEN and autism due to working with children in schools and in care settings.

I cover areas from West Harrow to South London. Please discuss and confirm.

I enjoy teaching, learning and sharing knowledge of the subjects and topics in the primary curriculum. My favourite subject is Maths. I have been told I have a fun, interactive and unique ways of teaching it so that it is less stressful for both the adult and child. 

My passion for teaching started when I was in primary school as I have younger siblings whom I would teach as well as other family members. I enjoy using games and physical activities to teach.

I am confident and I believe every child can succeed with the right patience and positive attitude.

I offer homework help, improving knowledge and confidence and overall help in all subjects. Prices are provided however, for any reason you cannot pay these then I am willing to discuss and arrange for a different price. I understand that with the current condition it is not easy. The first hour will be FREE for all.

I would like to speak to the parent(s)/ care providers before starting lessons, this is to grasp where they believe their child to be at in terms of levels and achievements. To discuss any areas they are concerned with, focus points and overall feedback and introductions.

Initially if it is not homework based but just subjects building knowledge, I would start with a test - this is not for pressure but to gage where your child(ren) are at in terms of levels and confidence.
