I am an experienced teacher with over 25 years working in the Bolton and Bury area in Greater Manchester.

I have successfully tutored children for 11+ entrance exams. I have vast experience working with children developing early writing and reading skills. I have worked with many children who found mainstream education a challenge or have specific learning difficulties.

I have a background in Biological Sciences, which was my degree at Cambridge University accompanied by Education.

 

About Me

I have now left mainstream education to concentrate solely on tutoring children. This gives me the time to create individual teaching programs suited to each of my students.

I am passionate about Dressage as well as educating children.

I have competed at National level and won two titles.

With dedication, passion, training and practise I believe you can succeed and achieve whatever you set your mind to.

I offer teaching in any subject at the Primary School level including phonics, motor skills training, as well as Maths and English up to Year 9.

    Dawn is an excellent tutor, my son lacked confidence with his maths. Dawn was patient, calm, and empathetic. The way in which she explained concepts gave clarity to my son and his confidence and self-esteem improved to the extent that he was willing to try questions he would previously have shied away from.
