I am an enthusiastic and inspirational maths tutor, eager to help students achieve their potential. With extensive experience in tutoring students of a variety of ages and abilities, I am able to tailor lessons to best suit my students. With a warm and friendly approach to teaching, I believe in motivating and encouraging my students to succeed and attain a high standard of learning.
With a great passion for maths, I can understand the difficulties students may face and help them to tackle any challenges they face. I strive to bring positive energy to the lessons, to uplift the students and prepare them for exams. I believe in understanding the method behind the maths, which is the aim of my lessons; once they have understood the process, I give them practice questions depending on their level of study and this consolidates their learning.
Being able to apply the method to a variety of questions is important, as I have learned with exam boards, which is why understanding the method is a vital part of my teaching. I want to encourage my students that they are capable of getting the best grades, no goal is 'unrealistic' which is a common thought in schools. I believe any student can achieve amazing grades if they put the work in and are taught well!
