I’m Duarte, nice to mee you and thank you for taking the time to read my profile and learn a bit about me.

I am originally from Lisbon but I have been living in London for nearly 10 years so I too know what it is like to learn English as a second language.

I have a CELTA certificate, a TEFL certificate and a degree in Drama so I am also an actor.

I am hugely passionate about languages. I speak French fluently and Spanish to a very high standard so  I am  very familiar with all the problems you may face when learning a language and I can help you overcoming them.

I teach a range of levels raging from beginner to more advanced within a variety of lessons from general English to business and conversational English  and I also like to us my training as an actor and combine it with my teaching in order to help developing fluency so that your able to truly express yourself when you visit an English speaking country.

My Lessons are always about you, you take centre stage. I want to know what films you like, what food you cook, what music you listen to. Are you into football or do you prefer tennis? Whatever your passions are we will use them in our lesson because the more passionate you are the more fluent you become and the quicker you’ll acquire a large vocabulary. 

As well as vocabulary we will focus on grammar, pronunciation and written production.

Like I said at the start I absolutely love languages and I find it extremely gratifying to able to pass on some of that enthusiasm by helping you to develop your English.
