I’m a full-time private tutor and Cambridge Engineering graduate (MEng, BA, Downing College), specialising in Oxbridge and Imperial admissions and A-Level Maths, Further Maths, and Physics. In the past two years alone, I’ve taught over 400 hours to more than 50 students from leading UK schools, helping them achieve top grades and offers from Cambridge, Oxford, and Imperial.
During my degree, I achieved top marks in Information Theory (88%) and Statistical Signal Processing (85%) and received the Griffin Award for sporting excellence at Downing College. As a former Cambridge Lightweight Boat Race winner, I bring the same discipline and focus from elite sport into my teaching.
My lessons combine academic precision with a calm, structured approach that builds understanding from first principles. I see teaching as a deeply human process - balancing technical mastery with genuine connection and trust between tutor and student. Alongside tutoring, I’m developing an AI platform that helps students analyse and improve their work - part of my mission to make world-class learning more effective, data-driven, and accessible to anyone, anywhere.
About Me
My lessons are structured, engaging, and goal-driven. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths and weaknesses, then design a focused plan to build confidence, precision, and long-term understanding. For A-Level students, I emphasise clarity, speed, and mastery of problem-solving techniques. For Oxbridge candidates, I incorporate deeper conceptual challenges and interview-style discussions to develop their reasoning under pressure.
Each session concludes with clear feedback and next steps, and I provide concise written reports for students and parents so progress remains visible and accountable. Homework and past-paper practice are used strategically to reinforce key ideas between sessions.
My teaching aims to build clear reasoning, efficiency, and composure - the habits that lead to consistent high performance in exams and beyond.

Edward made him practice different questions in various topics covering the whole syllabus. He was very punctual and also very flexible to rearrange with the timings.
