At 1st Class Tutoring, we are here to support your child's learning so that they can achieve their goals. We believe that all children have the right to learn, enjoy learning and be successful as a result of learning achievements. That's why our tutors use a range of teaching strategies to support a variety of learners. Tutors may use, concrete, pictoral as well as abstract methods to ensure gaps in learning are filled and use technology to support learning.
We believe that learning is done best when parents, tutors and pupils work in collaboration and so sometimes, home learning will be set to support progress throughout the week.
We believe in instilling a love of learning for all children and this is done through excellent teaching and showing pupils they can achieve their goals and aspirations. All our sessions are recorded and progress monitored by the tutor and 1st Class Tutoring. Because of this approach, over 85% of our clients continue to receive lessons beyond their original group of sessions as they are pleased with the progress they can see in their child. We have high success rates for 11+ tutoring with over 98% of pupils achieving the pass mark., giving you the confidence that we can unlock the potential in your child.
