About Me

Hello and nice to meet you! I welcome the opportunity to assist with your English studies. Together, we will create an environment in which you can do your very best.

Upon graduating from Colorado State University, I accepted a position as Coordinator for International Relations with the Jet Programme. In addition to creating international exchange projects, this role offered the opportunity to teach English at a local secondary school and to teach adults at a community centre. I absolutely loved teaching English, and found the educational environment to be an inspiration.

The majority of my career has been spent as Executive Assistant to C-Level Executives of multi-national companies. I have been based in Chicago, New York, London and Hong Kong. While in Hong Kong, I returned to the educational space, working in an administrative role for English Schools Foundation. 

I love to be a part of something larger than myself, and it is my ambition to continue this as an English tutor. I am independently motivated and also a team player, acutely aware that collaboration is critical in the role of an educator. As your tutor, I will work efficiently and cross-functionally, employing highly developed organisational skills, and a healthy sense of motivation in order to meet your standards of excellence.

I am married with two children and currently living in London, UK.

English conversation instruction via video, text and email.

Assisting international students with reading comprehension, analytical writing, and academic speaking.

Assisting professionals with business language and documents.

Designing lesson plans and materials for weekly small group tutoring sessions.

Formulating communicative activities to promote peer interaction.

Collaborating to implement content-based assignments for strengthening students' English speaking and listening skills.

Text and email chatting throughout the day to reinforce learning.
