I am a hardworking 2nd year Economics Student at Lancaster University currently on a predicted First Class Honours with a keen interest in the Statistical side of Mathematics. From my course and further reading I've gained an advanced and practical understanding of calculus, linear algebra, statistics and probability. These are important areas in Maths and I would love to have the opportunity to inspire students who want to gain an understanding of these areas, whether they're studying at A-level, GCSE or KS3.

Services

The mathematical nature of my degree subject has made me extremely passionate about Maths, I would love to help young people in education no matter their age. I think that when studying it, a lot of young people don't see the practical use of Maths. My teaching ethos is to show them the practical uses of what they're learning and why it's useful for their futures. I also am results oriented and can help anyone who wants it achieve their highest possible grade.

In addition to tutoring I would be more than happy to offer advice about personal statements, help students prepare for exams and give advice on routes to take within further education and careers. My interests outside of academics include rowing on the university team and chess.
