I am a fully qualified teacher of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics with 3 years of teaching experience. I have experience of teaching GCSE and A-level classes with students from a wide range of abilities. I am enthusiastic about my subject and believe that instilling a love of learning is key to helping students achieve excellent grades at GCSE and A-level.

I hold a 2:1 bachelor's degree in Japanese and so I would also be more than happy to offer tutoring in this subject, whether you are studying Japanese at school, or need it for work, or just have a burning desire to learn Japanese!

About Me

I have studied Japanese since my GCSEs and have a 2:1 degree in the subject. During my studies I have spent a total of 2 years living abroad in Japan and so I have a good understanding of the Japanese culture as well as the language.

Following my degree, I followed my passion for Philosophy and Ethics and achieved a PGCE and Outstanding QTS to teach Religion, Philosophy and Ethics. I have now been teaching for 3 years to students of all ages and abilities.

I am good natured and enthusiastic. I am more than happy to tailor any tutoring experience to the individual student as everyone learns in different ways. Throughout any of my teaching practice, I will always endeavour to make my lessons fun and engaging as it is my belief that this yields the best results from students.
