Hello! My name is Gemma and I am here to help your child succeed with their academic studies.

I am a qualified primary teacher who has over 10 years of experience teaching in schools all over the country.

In 2010, I obtained a First Class Degree with Honours from the University of Hertfordshire in Primary Education.

Within five years of qualifying, I worked my way up to Assistant Headteacher of a large primary school in Buckinghamshire.

Now, I run my own tuition business and I specialise in supporting primary students prepare for eleven plus entrance exams.

I have worked with numerous students to obtain places in some of the UK's best schools such as The Perse (Cambridge), City of London School for Girls (London) and Royal Grammar School (Guildford).

    Gemma started working with my son in May to help him prepare for his 11 plus exam in September. She worked with him very methodically - working to understand his strengths and weaknesses and built a plan for him, setting some homework when needed which she always discussed with me. Gemma went out of her way to recommend coursework, courses, study content, homework etc... in order to help support my son even when not working with him. I cannot fault Gemma in any way - she has worked tirelessly with my son, whose initial CAT scores were not great and I am so pleased to say that he has passed his 11 plus. This is absolutely down to Gemma’s wonderful style, perseverance with my son and professionalism throughout. Thank you so much Gemma, I can never thank you enough!

    Gemma worked with our son with the aim of getting him into Bedford Boys School which we knew to be a tough entry exam, on a par with the 11-plus. Despite only having around 3 months to work with him Gemma quickly established a good rapport and structure with him that he looked forward to and worked well for him. Maths and English were the areas of focus and the results were soon evident as testing in these subjects at school began to improve. It was also clear that his vocabulary and writing skills were improving and we were delighted when Oliver sat the entry exam and passed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gemma.

    The tuition between my 11 year old son and Gemma has been invaluable.
