Hello,
My name is Georgia Smith and I am currently doing my PGCE Initial teacher training qualification and looking to get some tutoring experience to go alongside.
My specialist subject is Chemistry, I have an integrated masters from Cardiff University.
I am studying to teach Chemistry with Science, so I can teach all 3 sciences up to GCSE as well as Chemistry A Level.
I live and study in Cardiff so I am more familiar with the WJEC curriculum, therefore any online tutoring sessions for those outside of Wales, I will need advance notification of the correct exam board so I can ensure I am providing the correct information.
I am happy to do in person tutoring (when lockdown restrictions are lifted) in the Cardiff area as well as online sessions for the UK.
I have a relaxed, approachable style of teaching, and believe pupils should have an active role in thier learning, so try to make sessions as interactive as possible for the given topic.
I have a clear DBS check, I am happy to provide a copy for you if you wish to see it.
