I am a fully qualified (QTS/ITT/PGCE) teacher at a Secondary School and Sixth Form College: 
KS2/KS3/KS4/KS5 Geography (GCSE/A Level - all exam boards)
KS5 Law (AQA A Level) 
KS5 BTEC Travel and Tourism (Pearson Level 3)

KS2/KS3 Maths and English. 

I have taught hundreds of students over the past 3 years, and have an enthusiastic and friendly personality. I am currently a Head of Year 8 as well, meaning i have lots of interaction with students and parents, and can also provide a more human approach to education, with empathy, respect and tolerance. 
I also have SEND and EAL (English as an additional language) training and can support SEN students with their studies. 

Although my degree is in Geography, i have access to many other subjects and due to my own A Levels and Undergraduate/Postgraduate degrees, i am able to teach KS3/KS4 Maths, KS4 Art Textiles and PSHE/Citizenship Studies. 

I feel incredibly fortunate to have taught many exam classes who have flourished and have contributed to students gaining Level 7-9 who started with me at a lower level. Anything and everything is possible for your child, with the right guidance and commitment.

About Me

I am fortunate enough to teach all year groups ranging from year 5 to year 13. I work in a mainstream school that has one of the highest intakes of SEN in the county, and have therefore had the pleasure to teach students of all abilities. I can support students who may struggle with recalling, retaining and applying knowledge or can challenge those students who are comfortable within their studies but need that extra push to hit level 8/9. 

I am incredibly enthusiastic about my job and my subject and i truly believe that in this current climate, Geography is one of the most important subjects to learn. I will base my classes on the National Curriculum/Exam Boards and Wider Studies. Wider Studies is lessons and activities which link to the NC and exam boards but focus on current affairs, real life scenarios, and building cultural capital outside of the classroom. 

Geography is so much more than the exam board specification and it is important that students get a full understanding of the world they live in, and hopefully aid them in their future career prospects. Geography is one of the most employable degrees in the world because of its vast range of career opportunities. Geography is not just rivers and coastlines, but more so our Human environment too, and how we interact on Planet Earth.
