Hi, my name is Helen. I am a Modern Languages and Cultures graduate, specialising in French and Hispanic Studies, from Durham University. I have worked as a tutor and teaching assistant in France, Spain and Peru with students from the ages of 5 - 26 during my year abroad. I have also worked as an Au Pair teaching English as my passion for languages is something that I really enjoy sharing.
I am passionate about language learning and teaching and would love to help you on your language learning journey!
Having lived abroad in both France and Spain I have been immersed in French and Spanish language and lifestyle and have learnt a lot about French and Spanish culture which I would also love to share with you!

I offer French and Spanish lessons and tutoring (currently online) via Skype or Microsoft Teams.

Masters - Intercultural Communication and International Development
Following the completion of my BA in Modern Languages and Cultures I undertook an MA in Intercultural Communication and International Development. Throughout this Master's degree I was able to continue to develop my language skills, undertaking translation modules and practice, while also engaging in global issues from cultural and linguistic perspectives.
