I am a very experienced maths teacher of 30 years. I have had a successful career rising to head of department, pastoral head and assistant headteacher, with hundreds of students thriving in my charge. 
I tutor maths to all ages and stages with great results and I have also tutored for thee 11 plus. I mark for several exam boards and know the intricacies of what examiners are looking for. 
I deliver high quality lessons to demystify all aspects of number, algebra, geometry and statistics. I have a lot of skills to improve confidence. Using teaching backwards strategies I look for misconceptions and untangle maths muddles, with humour and enthusiasm. 
I have a fully up to date child protection certificate and I have great skills with the demotivated students and those with learning difficulties.
