I am a very experienced French tutor. I have tutored two students online since March 2020, one student at GCSE level and one at A level. I have a track record of improving student’s grades and giving them confidence and belief in their abilities in French. I believe I have transitioned successfully to online teaching with these students, using shared screens and a mix of media including video materials and many of my own targeted materials to motivate and help students progress in French.
About Me
I am a very experienced French Teacher. I have been Head of French in a London Comprehensive and a Kent Grammar School. I have a track record of helping students achieve excellent grades at both GCSE and A level.
I have also enjoyed tutoring students and adults since 2016. I regularly improve student’s grades by giving them confidence and belief in their abilities in French. Having tutored for many years I have been able to successfully transition to online teaching. I often make use of shared screens and a mix of media, including video materials and my own targeted work sheets to motivate and help students progress and achieve excellent results in French.
Services
I give online lessons of 1 hour at KS4, KS5 and also to adults that will offer the student an opportunity to improve their listening, reading, writing and above all their speaking skills. I'm a friendly, encouraging French teacher with lots of experience in my subject.

Jun 2021Mr. Franczak has tutored my daughter in French for the last three years, supporting her through year 11 GCSE and then continuing on throughout her A Level. The initial purpose of the tutoring was to help my daughter catch up as she was struggling in her GCSE. Through the year her ability and confidence flourished and she achieved a very high grade thanks to the extra work with Mr. Franczak. She began to enjoy French as a subject to such a level that she decided to select it as one of her A Levels. My daughter enjoyed her lessons so much that we decided to continue with private tutoring with Mr. Franczak for the next two years and have just finished now her A Levels are completed. During the last two years Mr. Franczak seamlessly switched to online lessons due to the pandemic and when her diagnosis of dyslexia was identified he adapted the learning style to suit her needs which demonstrates his flexibility and professionalism. As a tutor I have always found Mr. Franczak to be reliable, punctual, encouraging, dedicated and patient. He has always worked diligently to assist my daughter and he has given her the confidence to believe in her abilities to achieve good work. He made the lessons engaging and fun and has a way of praising the positive whilst giving learning points to work on without any negativity or criticism. His continued support enabled my daughter to develop a love for languages.
