About Me

Jeremy currently teaches Double and electric Bass and Piano at Surrey University. Singing for Prince Charles and Lady Diana at their engagement, tutored by Geoff Gascoyne (Jamie Cullum) Eddie Harvey and Howard Goodall. Playing for Steve Griegory (George Michael),  Lord Menuhin, Yo Yo Ma, Speech Debelle, Simon Rattle, Acker Bilk. Performing at Ronnie Scott’s, Glastonbury, B.B.C Radio One and ITV recording sessions. Support for Roni Size & James Taylor Quartet. 

Piano Students;
Engaging music you would like to learn. Supportive Treble and Bass clef note reading. Supportive work with sight-reading, scales and aural tests to make these enjoyable.Supportive help with ABRSM and other exam boards

Double Bass students;
Bass clef note reading. Bowing techniques, scales, practice technique and the use of metronome. Playing Jazz and Improvising. Opportunities to play at Jazz Jam sessions. Option of exams using ABRSM and other exam boards.

Electric Bass students;
Learning to read TAB and bass clef and learn pieces from your favourite bands. 
Learning positive practice techniques and making practice fun! Rock school and Trinity exam boards are an option. 

The joy of learning an instrument is a wonderful experience, and whatever your age and ability I feel it never loses its magic. All learning routes are tailored and catered for such as autism and dyslexia. All learning journeys are supported with positive encouragement.
