About Me

I am currently studying for a MA in Shakespeare and Theatre at the prestigious Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-Upon-Avon (part of the University of Birmingham). I graduated from the University of Warwick with a good 2:1 in English (BA Hons).

I have taught English at KS3 and G.C.S.E. for many years, mostly within British state schools and recently via private tuition.

Additionally, I have an extensive special needs background and have worked in the role of S.E.N.C.O. with particular emphasis on Autism, Speech and Language difficulties, Literacy, Dyslexia and Moderate/General learning Difficulties.

After I completed my P.G.C.E., I spent two years in Turkey, teaching English as a Foreign Language to secondary school aged children and adults.
