Hello I'm Joanna, I'd be very happy to help you or your child with maths tutoring. I am a tutor with a lot of experience working in maths in my everyday work, offering tutoring online.
About Me
I am a tutor with a lot of experience working in maths in my everyday work. I studied maths up until first year of University, and used it as part of my chemistry degree for the remainder of my studies (MSci Chemistry). I use maths everyday in my job in the water industry. I have been tutoring maths since summer 2020. I am used to adapting lessons and explanations to suit each lesson depending on the needs of the student.
Services
I offer tutoring for primary or secondary pupils up to Higher/AS Level, or for adults working to the same level. All sessions are online.
I am very flexible as to how the lessons are, depending on the student. Usually I have a google docs page that I have prepared before the lesson that we can look through for explanations, and to practice some examples. We can also go through examples of questions from the school class to ensure we are working at the right level. If there is a certain topic that you would like covered I can prepare lessons based on that. The topics we study can be driven by the student.

Jan 2021Joanna is a great teacher! She helped me pass my maths course at uni, and was incredibly patient with me and always made sure I understood what she was saying. She helped me gain confidence in the subject, where previously I struggled, and never made me feel like any question was too silly!
