Hi! I'm Joel, a Portuguese student currently studying Musical Theatre and Portuguese.I have a Portuguese A Level and love sharing my knowledge with others. Languages and drama have always been my biggest passion in school but I also have an interest for geography and English.. Although I was born in England, I come from a Portuguese background and therefor I'm fluent in two languages. I also speak some French, which I took at GCSE. Every summer my family and I go to Portugal and when I was younger  that helped me learn more about the history, language and culture of Portugal. 

I aim to provide solid knowledge of what I am teaching, whilst also paying attention to the needs of the individual. For younger learners I like to motivate them by testing their comprehension by including some fun activities which allows them to engage in the topic.I make sure the individual is understanding what I am teaching by making regular pauses and ensuring they have understood the material either by asking them to summarize what has just been said, or doing a quick mini test. I am open to following the student's needs of help with their weekly homework.

Services

I offer Portuguese language tuition for GCSE, KS3 and Primary. I also offer English for all three levels I mentioned before.
