Experienced Maths, Science and Computer Science Tutor
With 7 years of experience tutoring, I have tutored a large number of students from primary school age to A-Level students. I make an effort to understand a student’s needs so I can decide the best way to help them with their studies. This approach helped me to teach two pupils with severe ADHD because I worked with them to come up with systems to keep them engaged. The mother of one of these students said I did an excellent job to make sure he enjoyed our sessions and made it feel less like a chore. Another client said ‘I really did not enjoy maths GCSE before I started with Joey, after just a couple months of lessons math has become my favourite subject, and I am now working towards doing it for A-level.’ I am always punctual and I am happy for my clients to message me with any questions they have during the week.

Jun 2020Joey has been teaching my 15 yr old son computer science for GCSE after he missed a lot of school due to issues with autism and OCD. Joey has the patience to get my son to engage with the sides of the subject he finds less interesting while rewarding him with doing fun stuff. -
