Hi I'm John, a friendly guy with an easy manner who has wide experince in media, particularly television, film and live productions.

My degree is In English and I love fiction and drama from all periods, as well as being a voracious consumer of contemporary fiction.

Very flexible and adaptable and get on particularly well with young people preparing for exams who need a little bit of extra help.

About Me

A former media professional with a BA Hons degree in English from the University of Durham. 

Teaching experience in English, Drama and Media.

My previous work experience includes directing, producing and executive producing network television for the BBC, ITV and Channels Four and Five, as well as international co-productions, working with major talent and creatives. Also experienced in producing number one theatrical tours and arena scale music events.

Exceptional communication skills with a passion for classic and contemporary literature and drama.

Friendly, informed, and able to show young people (of all ages!) how to achieve the best results through sensible, goal oriented teaching.
