I am a fully qualified economics teacher who has over 15 years teaching experience and currently teach in one of the top UK schools, it was in the top 10 global schools for IB results in 2022. 

I have taught A level economics and IB economics at higher level throughout my career and have built a detailed understanding of the content and how they are examined. I have substantial experience with one to one tutoring, online teaching, academic extension and Oxbridge preparation. I have years of experience in ensuring students achieve or exceed their expectations and goals. I currently teach the EDEXCEL A level economics syllabus and the IB economics syllabus but I tutor students who study AQA and OCR.

I tutor in a friendly, open and streching way which is tailoured to the unique recquirements of the student. I always ensure economic theories and concepts are linked to contemporary real world examples (which is essential in economics). It is important students feel emporwered to ask questions. I am able to break down difficult economic theories, models and concepts in ways which are easily understood. I then scafold the skills needed to apply these concepts to exam quesions and real world contexts. I have an excellent track record of giving my students the knowledge, skills and resources to achieve A* or level 7 in an engaging and interesting way.
