Hi, my name is Jon and I have over 20 years of experience working with young people in various academic and sport settings. I have been a fully qualified teacher at various schools with varying academic expectations for nearly 3 years. I have experience teaching both separate science and combined science Biology and Chemistry with a range of prior attainment levels.

I studied at Manchester Metropolitan University for my undergraduate degree in Sports and Exercise science before completing a PGCE in Secondary Biology at Nottingham Trent University to become a Biology Science teacher.

Services

I am looking to tutor GCSE and A level Biology students, and combined science to GCSE level. Given the contact time missed in schools, this is an excellent opportunity to have extra support from a subject expert. As a classroom teacher during the COVID-19 pandemic, I quickly adapted to online teaching. I have all the tools, experience and knowledge to deliver 1:1 or small group lessons at a safe distance. 

I will always tailor my teaching styles to the individual student`s needs and learning goals.
