I'm Katie. I currently work as an in-school English tutor at a wonderful secondary school in rural Dorset. I'm very familiar with the entire KS3 and KS4 syllabus' and key texts, as well as GCSE exam papers for both language and literature. 

About Me

My love of English has run through my not just my school days, but my adult life also. I graduated with a 1st in Creative Writing from Falmouth University, and have experience in poetry writing, self publishing, marketing and teaching. 

Services

I can offer tailored learning objectives and plans to each individual student, whether this is improving your spelling, basic punctuation, or perhaps working on one particular exam paper you're lacking confidence with. 
My teaching style is fairly relaxed, working on gaining confidence in your English skills which we can then apply to our work.

I'm happy to take students who need the basics, or students at the advanced level working on pushing up to those higher grade boundaries.
