I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with teaching and tutoring experience, who is passionate about education and learning. I want children to fulfil their full potential, and I teach with a fun and hands-on approach. I like children to take ownership of their own learning by helping them to find answers themselves. 

About Me

Hello! My name is Kirsty and I live in Oxfordshire with my husband, baby and two cats.

I love teaching, and have experience teaching  and tutoring across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I have helped children to prepare for  their SATs  and 11+ tests, as well as giving children additional support for their education. 

I like to keep my students at the forefront of their learning, and use their likes and hobbies to keep them engaged and motivated in their learning. If you have any questions you would like to ask me then please get in touch! I would love to hear from you. 

Services

I offer online tutoring (which can be transferred to in-person tutoring once pandemic restrictions allow) for children in Year 2 to Year 6. I tutor in maths and English (including reading, grammar and phonics). 

If you need help with home learning, I can support with any school work that your child has been set or I can give additional tutoring to keep on top of things. 

I offer a free 15 minute get to know you session before I start any teaching so I can answer any questions and help your child to feel more comfortable with me before we start learning.
