My name is Laura and I am a NQT History Teacher. I can confidently teach GCSE and A-Level History. I am also looking to help students who have either missed out on their studies from isolating or are needing help with their online learning. I can confidently teach and plan my own lessons to a high standard. I am confident teaching both KS3 National Curriculum and KS4 history, including Edexcel and AQA GCSE.

I consider myself to be a creative, energetic individual who aspires to promote the use of active skills-based learning, such as interpretation, inference and provenance skills. Through my university studies and my teacher training, I have actively researched and developed an effective pedagogy which stimulates active learning and develops critical thinking. I also provide students with enriched skills-based lessons, that aim to challenge students’ understanding about the world around them. I am a qualified Secondary History teacher and currently an NQT in search of a full-time job. I can confidently teach and plan my own lessons to a high standard. I am confident teaching both KS3 National Curriculum and KS4 history, including Edexcel and AQA GCSE.
