Experienced tutor in philosophy. I have many years of experience tutoring a number of subjects, but have always found philosophy most interesting to teach, and it is for that reason my major focus.
My approach is to help you to build up a framework, one that works especially well for you, through which to understand philosophical ideas and concepts. I have found that the best way of doing this is by first discovering where any problems lie, then helping you to construct your own network of answers to these problems by asking the right kinds of questions. This method I owe largely to Socrates, who worked out two and half thousand years ago that it worked pretty well.
I received my BA in philosophy from the University of Cambridge in 2017, have recently finished work on an MPhil degree in philosophy at the University of Warwick, and will be starting a PhD in philosophy at University College London in 2021.
