I am a CELTA-qualified, PGCE-certified educator with over 10 years of experience teaching in UK primary schools and adults abroad. Currently, I work as a specialist EAL teacher for the Local Authority, supporting new to English children in developing their language skills. My background in Drama, with a BA in Theatre Arts, enriches my teaching approach, fostering creativity and engagement in the classroom. Additionally, I have freelanced as an education content creator, producing resources that enhance learning and support diverse educational needs. My experience and passion for education enable me to tailor lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, making learning both enjoyable and effective.

About Me

I studied Drama at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Following that I moved abroad to Spain and gained a CELTA certificate, teaching children and adults in language schools. On my return to the UK, I studied for a primary PGCE and became a class teacher in a school in London for nearly 10 years. After having children, I took a career break, moved back to Spain and freelanced as an Education Content Creator. I now live in Brighton with my family, enjoy swimming in the sea, walking in the countryside, travelling in our campervan and continuing to try and improve my Spanish!

Services

I offer 1-1, 60 minute online tuition for adults wanting to improve their English skills. I can help new to English students with vocabulary aquistion, grammar structure and conversation practice. Additionally, I am able to offer more advanced students help with their pronunciation and more complex English language subjects.
