When I learn things, I think things through in a slow, deep manner. In class, I would have a habit of asking a lot of 'silly' questions which peers would roll their eyes at. Because of this, it has made me non judgmental no matter how simple a question is and creates an environment where I am comfortable working at any pace - allowing the pupil to feel at ease.
I would give lessons throughout my time at university so I have experience explaining complicated concepts to a range of students. From the skills that I have learnt, I have been able to see these applied having interned with Deloitte. So I have an appreciation for how useful Maths can be to a person's life.
