I am an enthusiastic, proactive tutor who will prepare lessons which incorporate both an approach which suits your child and will input as much of the resources and knowledge I can offer. I have gained crucial skills from working in an award-winning tuition centre for 2 years such as being able to give parents very comprehensive feedback; within calculations and problem solving question looking at multiple methods to help find which one really supports your child and have even further enhanced my amazing relationships with teaching children and teenagers.I have worked with many children who are preparing for the 11+ and helped them pass and set a strong base for secondary school as well as myself passing successfully through the process myself, I have up to date resources such as Bond/Letts and CGP books/papers and knowledge to guide your child in all the areas.For younger children I emphasise 'the love of learning' and balance my lessons on encouragement and fun with setting targets and challenges.I am also passionate in the scientific/ maths area and will be able to really delve into tricky KS3/KS4/GCSE/AS-Level topics having achieved top grade I am able to offer my tips in terms of revision techniques and just general help for exam situations, furthermore I am to able resources of the subject area to give a wide range of question types and broaden your child exposure to questions.Finally if required I can also provide lessons on the medicine selection process including interview and personal statement advice.
